When it comes to the keto diet you really don’t have to go without. You just have to be creative. And that’s what I did when I was really wanting a nice warm cup of hot chocolate. We are really big got chocolate fans here. If you don’t believe me just search my blog and you’ll probably find at least 5 of my hot chocolate recipes that I’ve shared. Maybe more. I’ve never really counted. Some are instant and some are warmed and enjoyed immediately. But what I didn’t have was a keto one. So I’m here today to share my keto hot chocolate that I whipped up in the heat of the moment. And it doesn’t disappoint.
Feel free to tweak anything as usual to fit your tastebuds. Now let’s get to this recipe your going to want to keep on hand at all times when doing keto. You can probably even enjoy it cold and like a cup of chocolate milk but without the milk and carb part.
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (I use vanilla flavored)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa mix
- 2 tbsp sweetener (I use stevia)
- Sugar free whipped heavy cream (optional)
- Warm up your almond milk
- Add in your sweetener and cocoa and stir
- Top with sugar free whipped cream and enjoy!
It is seriously so easy to make and turns out so good. It is only 2 carbs so enjoy as often as you like to curb that sweet tooth. Of your not doing keto then you should check out all my other hot chocolate recipes I share.
