Christmas Eve Charcuterie Board For Kids

This year has definitely been one for the books. It’s been wild and fun all at once but I wanted to make sure I made it a little special for my littles. Since they are now homeschooled and don’t get to have a holiday party at school. So I decided to upgrade our snack tray and take it even more extra than normal. My kids love when they get a variety of options to choose from and it makes my mommy job a little easier.

This one was Christmas themed and I wanted to show you the items I chose and how I decided to lay them out. It’s really a lot easier than it looks.

So our tray I tried to have it a fun mix of sweets but not necessarily ALL candy. In ours I included….

  • Cake bites
  • Gingerbread cookies
  • Yogurt start shaped Pretzels
  • Caramel popcorn
  • Christmas crack
  • Hershey kisses
  • Reese’s trees
  • Marshmallows
  • Peppermints
  • Sour straws (tied into bows)
  • Sour patch kids
  • Christmas candy corn
  • M&M’s

I then started by placing two smaller bowls to hold the smaller candies and filled them up on one of my biggest cutting boards. I then placed the gingerbread men to circle hallways around the bowl and the Christmas crack around the other one. I then started to add the rest of the items in piles or rows around it to fill in any gaps.

I removed everything from their wrappers if they had one, besides the Hershey kisses because I like the design on the wrappers. I like the fun pop of Christmas fun it gives.

When I saw these Christmas themed candy corn I knew it would be perfect. It actually came with our popcorn. It was all mixed in and I just separated them out into their own bowl.

My kids also aren’t very big chocolate fans unless it’s white chocolate so I didn’t include much dark chocolates on our charcuterie board but feel free to get as fun as you want and vibe to what your family likes.

If you love making holiday themed food for your littles you should check out some of my yummy recipes or themed treats I share.

I hope you found some inspo and enjoy making the holidays fun for your littles. They really deserve it and are only little for so long.

Until next time, live a life you love.
