With Easter right around the corner and it becoming crunch time to get all the things ready I thought I’d touch on something that we like to do over here. We don’t make it all about candy. We don’t do chocolate bunny’s or baskets full of candy. Because well someone has to eat all that and I don’t want it to be my kids. So we just have never really done it.
We do enjoy Easter egg hunts though. And normally you’ll find all kinds of premade packs with goodies to put inside your eggs but they are always full of candy and just so much plastic wrappers that it’s not fitting for us and our way of living. So I thought I’d toss together this really quick blog and write up a list of 30 things you can use to fill your Easter eggs that’s not candy. The list is a combined collection and not really separated by age so be sure to look through and note things that your kids will love to find during their hunt.
Now if your kids are used to candy in their eggs and you don’t want to throw them for a major loop this year be sure to fill some up too. You don’t have to go all non candy. Your in charge of the holidays in your family and if you want candy then have some candy! Now let’s get to that list.
- Army guys
- Experience coupons
- Nail polish
- Hair ties
- Finger puppets
- Puzzle pieces
- Bouncy balls
- Glow in the dark stars
- Roblox toys
I hope you and your family enjoy the holiday and your littles have a blast finding all their fun surprises. I know I’ll gave. A blast filling them up and watching my kids chase them all down.
Until next time, live a life you love!
